With the development of the consume society, home agriculture has decayed more and more. Plus, the population living in urban areas has almost no chance of producing food, and  one depends on hypermarket chains and markets for the necessary supplies. Whole industries have grown out of the food demand, and the benefits of organic food have been forgotten by many of us. We have little knowledge about naturally grown products or we are simply not interesting in the spreading organic trend. Such food contains no chemicals, food additives or preservers, it has no risk of genetic modification and the cultures from which it comes are completely herbicide and insecticide free. This means that the nutritional value and the quality of organic food is the real thing that the human body needs to function within optimal parameters. More nutrients thus create the major benefits of organic food over items resulting from mass crops.

Lots of studies have been conducted in order to expose the benefits of organic food to a larger number of consumers. Thus, a person relying on organic food for the daily diet will in fact get more vitamins, more anti-oxidants, more trace minerals than a person that uses products from non-organic crops. People who suffer from chronic health problems should only use organic food, and here we refer to cancer patients in particular. The fertilizers and chemicals used to increase the productivity of crops pass into the food and then into the human body creating further imbalances that could be a real danger for someone who already has a decaying health condition.

Health convenience is ultimately the concept that sums up the essence of all the benefits of organic food. If you are curious to analyze things in depth, you’ll find out that there are dozens of studies, articles and materials that depict the advantages of organic food versus non-organic food. If people were more careful with what they ate, the number of diseases would decrease and so would mortality rates. The market thus changes its demands and hopefully evolves towards a healthier, safer future.
